Dye ink is a quick-drying way to stamp images. If you are looking to use embossing powder on your images, pigment ink is the way to go. Pigment ink is stickier and slower to dry, giving you time to embellish with embossing powder or other additional methods. Once pigment ink has been embossed, the ink and embossing powder are acid-free and safe for memory books. All of our dye ink is acid-free and archival safe. CHALK INK PADS Resilient like pigment ink, these chalk pads are permanent when heat set but they also stamp, blend and dry quickly like dye inks. Flat, muted colors contribute to a subtle and silky look.
